Alec Smith

Alec is a law clerk and has been working at Bleyer Lawyers for 18 months, and thoroughly enjoys working in the great work environment that Bleyer Lawyers offers. He predominantly assists Vanessa Bleyer with commercial tasks, particularly debt collection, drafting complaints and conducting legal research.

Alec was studying a Bachelor of Business (Finance), where he was invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society after his first-year University results. Since working at Bleyer Lawyers, Alec has changed his degree to a combined degree in Commerce (Economics) and Laws.

Alec is currently based in the Melbourne office, and enjoys the challenge of working in a big city. Alec is a keen cricketer and captained South Launceston to back-to-back premierships in season 2016/17 and 2017/18 in the Northern Tasmania Cricket Association. He has also captained Tasmanian underage sides, and represented Australia at under 16 level.

In his spare time, Alec enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
